The ULID Generator produces lexicographically sortable identifiers with a 48-bit millisecond timestamp prefix and 80 bits of randomness. Unlike UUIDs, ULIDs sort by creation time, which makes them great for database indexes and event streams.

A built-in decoder reads the timestamp back from any ULID and shows the exact creation time in UTC. Generate up to 1000 IDs at once. Everything is created and decoded locally in your browser.
