ROT13 / ROT5 / ROT18

The ROT13 / ROT5 / ROT18 tool applies classic rotation ciphers to your text in real time. ROT13 rotates letters by 13 places (its own inverse), ROT5 rotates digits 0-9 by 5 places, and ROT18 applies both at once.

These ciphers are not encryption - they merely obfuscate text so it is not immediately readable, which is why they appear in forum spoilers, puzzle hints and legacy code comments. Applying the same rotation twice restores the original. Everything is processed locally in your browser.
